Excellent quality and great, loud sound.<\/p>\n<p>This double ball rattle consists of two balls filled with ceramic beads that are firmly connected by a rope. A combination of rattling and clicking sounds can be heard when the Thelevi is skillfully turned in the hand. A must for rhythm acrobats!<\/p>\n<p>Thelevi has many names, it is also called kosika, clatter gourd, kashaka, asalato, aslatua or patica. The hard nuts do not come from a pumpkin, as the name suggests, but from the tree\u00a0&#8220;oncoba spinosa&#8221;.\u00a0Since the hard shells were once used to make containers for storing tobacco, the plant is also called the snuff box tree.
