Pickup Guru Tim Shaw made these pickups a little hotter. Still very vintage, but with more steam.

• Both pickups are carefully coordinated and deliver absolutely convincing both individually and together.
• The bridge pickup has a copper base plate, flat Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire.
• The neck pickup also uses high quality Alnico 5 magnets, but has an enamelled coil wire.
• Alnico 5 magnets produce a direct, focused sound.
• Their quick response makes them particularly interesting for guitarists who edit their tone with effects pedals.
