TONE
Buffalo Horn has the closest tone to the fabled Tortoise shell picks as it is made from the same material, Keratin. Although softer than Bone it is still very hard wearing and has a more rounded mellow tone.
DESIGN
Teardrop Tones are large, long and thick. They are typically 34mm long, 23mm wide and 3.5mm thick chamfering down to a playing tip at 0.7mm thick. They have a recess on one side for the thumb for extra grip and to stop pick rotation. They are designed for players who feel more comfortable with a greater distance between their thumb and the strings.
